High Frequency Spark-Vacuum Tester and Gas Indicator The high frequency spark can be adjusted from 1/16" to 1/8". the high frequency current can be adjusted from 10 to 120 Ma. The single layer high frequency Tesla coil is wound on a ceramic core, ruggedly mounted in a strong bakelite housing. High quality mica capacitors and a sturdy, 4 point adjustable tungsten gap are employed. The adjustment lever is well protected against manual abuse. High Frequency Spark-Vacuum Tester and Gas Indicator This unit emits steep wave front spark up to 1-1/2" long (instantaneous voltage up to 42,000 volts) with instantaneous current values in the order of several amperes. The high voltage, high frequency circuit is isolated from the supply line and closed through a capacitive ground. Applications: Vacuum testing, checking gas in a gaseous production tube, chasing getter deposits between stem electrodes and power tubes, checking wire insulation, etc. Both the instantaneous striking voltage and spark rate can be adjusted from 10% to maximum. High Frequency, High Voltage Spark Generator This unit emits a steep wave front spark up to 2" long (instantaneous voltage up to 70,000 volts) with instantaneous current values in the order of several amperes. The high voltage, highfrequency circuit is isolated from supply line and closed through a capacitive ground. The unit is tuned to resonate with a wand and a 5 foot cable. This unit can be used where an instantaneous high voltage and current is required for testing surface insulation and other comparable uses.
